Diablo 3 Sold Over 10 Million Copies

Activision Blizzard has announced its earnings report and says Diablo 3 has sold more than 10 million copies, until and including 30 September.

According to Eurogamer, Diablo 3 was the biggest selling PC game in both units and dollars in the US and Europe.

Diablo 3 Acitivision Blizzard is having a very good year - Diablo 3 was the top selling title in the US and Europe.

The publisher proudly announced that three of the four top-selling titles in North America and Europe belongs to Activision Blizzard: Diablo 3, Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure and World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria.

And in its first week, World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria sold 2.7 million copies.

Bad news for Starcraft fans though: the Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm expansion won’t live up to its 2012 release date and will instead be released in the first half of next year.

With the additions they have added to the game the players base has grown.

They actually now have more too work for than Diablo 2 had. D2 might as well have been D3 just in a different era where there was nothing to compare it too hence it doing so well.
