Dark Souls 2 Announced

Gamers have been waiting for it and finally the call has been answered as Namco Bandai announced the release of Dark Souls 2 – which is scheduled to come out sometime in 2013.

The news was announced at the Spike Video Game Awards (VGAs) through a new cinematic trailer which can be seen below. The trailer didn’t show off any gameplay at all, but it basically set the tone for the second game which will be fresh and brutal.

Dark Souls 2 will be releasing on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and will be in development by the original series creator, Hidetaka Miyazaki who will also be supervising the sequel. There is no release date yet, but it will be coming out some time in 2013.
