Free-to-play FPS Bullet Run Shutting Down

According to an announcement on its official website, Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) has decided to pull the plug on the free-to-play FPS game, Bullet Run.

"After much review and consideration, Acony Games and Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) have mutually made the decision to discontinue development on the free-to-play FPS game, Bullet Run," says a spokesperson.

As of yesterday, billing for the game has been stopped and players will be able to continue playing until 8 March, when all servers, forums and even the game’s website will be shutting down.

Developer Acony Games will retain the game code but both parties have confirmed that there is no plan to re-launch the title.
