Lifetime Achievement Award for Bioware Founders

Co-founders of the award-winning BioWare studio Dr. Ray Muzyka and Dr. Greg Zeschuk will receive Lifetime Achievement Awards at the 13th Annual Game Developers Choice Awards (GDCAs).

The pair will receive the award for their “contributions to the art and science of games”, which include founding BioWare, preserving the ‘strength’ of the company during its acquisition by EA and producing some of gaming’s best-loved franchises, of which Mass Effect, Dragon Age and Star Wars: The Old Republic are only the latest.

GDC General Manager, Meggan Scavio, said in a release on the official website that, “There's no denying the deep footprint Ray and Greg have made, and how much their dedication and leadership will be missed in our industry.”

“We’re proud to honour them with the Lifetime Achievement Award as they parlay into their next careers."
The 13th Annual GDC will take place next month. For more information check out the official GDC site.
