Battlefield 3 Premium Reaches 2 Million Subscribers

CVG reports EA’s paid Battlefield 3 Premium service has reached two million subscribers.

The Battlefield 3 Premium service which costs a one-time fee of $50 in the US – and is similarly priced everywhere else – provides subscribers with five DLC bundles and a few exclusive additions. The BF3 numbers have grown immensely since July, when EA recorded 1.3 million subscribers.

EA has also announced FIFA 13 has sold 7.4 million units in one month, with Madden NFL 13 reporting to be the second-best selling game. But no figures were released for the title.

EA also reported a 40 per cent increase year-on-year in its digital revenues.
