Assassin’s Creed 3 on PC is Fully Patched

The PC version of Assassin’s Creed 3 is scheduled to arrive before the end of this month along with the Wii U version and Ubisoft has confirmed the PC version will be completely up-to-date.

As these things usually develop, the Assassin’s Creed 3 developers were milling around on Reddit and offered gamers the chance to ask them things. One of the questions was whether the PC version of the game will get the initial Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 patches that fixed a number of bugs.

Alex Hutchinson, creative director, said that the “PC release will include the first two patches on release”. Along with that, Gabe Graziani, the senior community developer told users that the PC version would also have access to all the downloadable content (DLC) that the console versions have access to.

It’s really good to see Ubisoft taking a heavy interest in the PC market as well as the console market because whether you are a console fan or not, there are a few more little tweaks that can be done to improve a PC version of a game (which is another reason why companies like to include PC-specific patches).

^ PC is the only way to play. Especially since you can buy remotes for it too.

Yes, but you also have to keep updating $$$$ the computer, where as the game for console is designed to work on console, making it cheaper to operate. And with HD tv's of today the quality is pretty good. I still itch for a super computer to play those games that arent avail to console gamers.

But, you can buy a PC as old as current consoles and the graphics will be the same. You just cant play on ultra high.

I still have a PC with an Nvidia 8800 lying around and it still runs almost all modern games on ultra. Thing is as old as current gen consoles and still looks better. Plus games are half the price and you get mods. You can also plug it into an HDTV and use something like Steam's Big Picture and boom. Plus you have a proper web browser, mods, multi-codec video/media support, no ads, cheaper games, quicker patch releases and so on. If you bought that system now, you could get it for 2 thirds the price of a new console

I'll keep my PC over Console ANY day! I can run Adobe After Effects , surf the web and play games simultaneously, NO lag. Why? 8-Cores for the win baby!

Probably won't be getting this. From what I have heard, it sucks. The character sounds like an irritating prick.
