In the Call of Duty (CoD) competition ESWAT took first place. The team is made up of Fernando Vermeulen, Dennis Janse van Rensburg, Riaan Latsky, Markus Khuhne, Jandre Janse van Vuuren and Frans Brewis, all of whom have been awarded national colours.

The DotA competition saw a tie between 80’s and AT, which 80’s then won in the tie-breaker.
In the FIFA 09 competition, played on PlayStation 3, Daud Akhtar beat Xola Magwaza in a tie-break, while on the Guitar Hero front, played on Xbox 360, Mark Dennison won and was awarded national colours.
Two brothers were also awarded their national colours: Dimitri Hadjipaschali for winning the Quake 3 competition; and Andreas Hadjipaschali for winning the Starcraft competition.

Suhail Botha, Jean Theron and Mitchell Vermeulen were the winners of the TrackMania Nations Forever competition. The reason a tie-breaker was not held in this case was that the Swiss system used in MSSA competitions does not account for a three-way tie. Hence all three players were awarded first place.
Verbatim have teamed up with Incredible Connection by adding incentives to the gamers who competed. These include 640GB HDD Media Station Pro’s, Verbatim Rapier V1 Gaming Mouse’s or Verbatim Storage bundles which include eight Gig Micro Flash Drives.

Trevor Henry, from Incredible Connection, awards Mitchell Vermeulen, one of the TrackMania Nations Forever winners.
