Do Gaming LeaguesThe Telkom Do Gaming Online League 2010 is seeing entries flowing in nicely, now having a total of 76 teams registered overall.
As expected, Call of Duty 4 (CoD4) is seeing the most entrants, which is currently sitting at 50 teams entered. Counter-Strike: Source (CSS) is coming second with 17 teams entered, while Heroes of Newerth (HoN) has six and Team Fortress 2 (TF2) has three.
CoD4 is seeing a number of stalwarts and new teams arrive, and just by looking at the entries it looks like it will be another exciting CoD4 competitive year.
CSS is looking exciting too, with the return of Bravado Gaming and last year's Telkom Do Gaming CSS Champions, Caucasian Persuasion (cP), who now play under Section 8. Plus many more favourites such as Soviet, Critical Control, Mint, Pantheon, and more.
While HoN is currently sitting only at six teams, a number of teams have told Do Gaming that they will be entering the league. It appears at the moment that the required 12 teams will be reached and the first local league for HoN could launch. This will be a fantastic league to watch.
TF2 is the only game that is still in doubt, with only three teams entered when 12 is needed. The TF2 local scene is encouraged to get going.
Registrations close on 11 February and players (especially leaders) of all the communities are advised to encourage and assist other teams in entering the Do Gaming leagues to try and increase the amount of teams entering by as much as possible. Signups are not limited but team leaders should organise their team entry as soon as possible.

There will also be a Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (BFBC2) league later in the year, once the game has launched. The Telkom Do Gaming BFBC2 beta servers are full and players can get a beta key by pre-ordering the game.
Gamers are reminded that to play in the Do Gaming LAN Championships 2010, like the ones held at the rAge expo last year, they will need to play in the online leagues. The LAN Championships will happen in the latter half of 2010.
