Veneration Esports are joining Energy eSports, Team Immersion and kknP at the top of the Telkom Do Gaming League (DGL) Dota 2 Premier League as they secured a win last night against DUCoRe.
Veneration was able to perform admirably by taking two convincing wins off DUCoRe . The first game lasted just 32 minutes and saw Veneration pick up a Nyx, Lich, Keeper of the Light, Faceless Void and Queen of Pain. DUCoRe struggled with an under-farmed Lifestealer, Jakiro, Bounty Hunter, Disruptor and Bane. It seemed to be a relatively one-sided affair as the statistics speak for themselves (see below).
In the second game, VnR started their line-up with Nyx, Beastmaster, Shadow Demon, Luna and Magnus to which DUCoRe picked Phanton Lancer, Windrunner, Brewmaster, Lion and Batrider. Things looked fairly even at the start – VnR were able to pull away and in just over 42 minutes and took the win. The Luna on VnR managed to farm up 289 creeps and had some rather big items.
The second game was a lot closer than the first but VnR were able to prove that they are a force to be reckoned with by taking down DUCoRe in a swift fashion.
Neither of the games seemed to have a lot of kills or deaths and were relatively low-scoring. Regardless , Veneration Esports now joins the other big dogs like Energy eSports and Team Immersion at the top with four points as they move on into the second week of play.
