Roebou and atrophY Meeting this Week

This week the two Premier Division leaders in the FIFA 13 PC Telkom Do Gaming League (DGL) 2013 Winter Leg will meet in a head to head battle to take the top spot.

Both Rohan ‘Roebou1989’ de Jongh and Rikus ‘atrophY’ Stemmet are both on eight points so far from two games but will be playing their third game this week as they meet to decide the front runner for the Premier Division. De Jongh has already enjoyed two consecutive wins over Lloyd ‘The_Solution’ Hung and Wayne ‘Shadow’ Ramsay while Stemmet took wins off both Chris ‘Evax’ Noble and Jody ‘0NightFox0’ Leukes.

These two players are now considered the front runners at this time because they both still have a game in hand and the third and fourth placed players in the Premier Division have already played their third games. There is still a chance for some players though as Jason ‘SmurFyZA’ Murphy suffered defeat last week at the hands of Tiaan ‘-BFC-Snafu’ Truter he only sits on five points but will be hoping to bounce back in his game against Noble this week.

So far the only game to be played was between Truter and Leukes where both players tied up the first game as well as the second game 1 – 1 and 0 – 0 respectively. The third game saw both players switch up their teams as Leukes took a deserved win as Germany over Truter’s Spain. The game ended 3 – 1 which was the reason Leukes soared up the table to third spot after their third week match.

As we approach the halfway point in the FIFA 13 PC DGL Winter Leg, it seems the competition is somewhat stiff as any of the top five players seem to be in a position where they could still walk away with the gold.
