A writer / content management position is opening at Do Gaming news. Here are the details:
Job description
The successful candidate will engage in writing for the Do Gaming League (DGL) as well as help load content onto the Do Gaming site(s).
This is a junior level position.
Preferably, the successful candidate would have recently left school and is studying at varsity.
The candidate should have good knowledge of the DGL and the South African gaming scene and has preferably been a contestant in the DGL and / or competitive gaming in South Africa.
Work will be done from home. They will be required to have an ADSL connection of their own as well as have their own PC / laptop of a decent spec with word processing software of their own.
Additional details
A journalist position is opening up from the beginning of September. Do Gaming is looking for a candidate who can possibly start now with the view that they can potentially step into this journalistic role in September.

Required Qualifications
Matric / Grade 12 certificate
The candidate should:
Be fluent in English
Be a proficient writer in English
Have a competent knowledge of the South African gaming scene and the Do Gaming League (DGL).
Have a stable ADSL connection
Be able to work from home
Have their own PC / laptop of a decent spec with word processing software of their own
Be willing to work a half-day and potentially a full-day
Be able to manage themselves independently from home
Additional skills and experience (not required):
A basic understanding of HTML
A basic knowledge of Excel
