Do Gaming's Medal of Honor: Warfighter servers have gone live today as the game releases across South Africa. The list of server instances can be found at the Do Gaming forum.
The server instances are a mix of 20 Player (10v10) and 12 Player Home Run (HR), a game mode focused on competitive gameplay. There will be two servers for each of these instances at launch, scaling up to keep in line with local community demand.
Many members of the local gaming community have been quite interested in Medal of Honor as a multiplayer and competitive title. The Medal of Honor: Warfighter servers joins Do Gaming's present servers of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Battlefield 3, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty 4. More details on those can be found here.
“We're pleased to be offering more servers to gamers with Medal of Honor: Warfighter, one of the titles that the Do Gaming League (DGL) will support next year,” says Robert Hart, Do Gaming League Director.
Medal of Honor: Warfighter is a modern shooter set in real-world events where gamers in the single-player game will follow a story written by a real-life Tier 1 Operator while deployed in various locations around a world. Gamers got to have a taste of the game before its release at the Telkom stand at rAge 2012 as EA showcased the title. It was received very positively.
