Activision announced today that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, will launch 4 November 2014 the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
According to Destructoid, Advanced Warfare is described as focusing on a private military company that has turned on the US government.
Developer Sledgehammer Games [Modern Warfare 3] has also released the first trailer [below] for the ‘futuristic’ military shooter which hints at new abilities, hover bikes and exoskeletons but more importantly, the involvement of House of Cards actor Kevin Spacey as the main antagonist.
Additionally, a promotional mini-documentary for the game which details the rise of private military corporations (PMCs) over the past 20 years.
The video highlighted how PMCs, who will fight for human-rights groups or terrorists for the right price, are pulling soldiers from national armies with higher payment for shorter deployment periods.
Call of Duty: Advance Warfare will be the eleventh game in the hugely popular franchise and will launch 4 November 2014 the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
